Before 1776 Bail & Co was a name known across Western North Carolina, it was a vision, sparked by two people who saw the cracks in a system and refused to settle for “the way it’s always been.” Terri Mothershead, the right hand of founder Derek Mothershead, saw the potential in him and the industry, and she knew they could build something better.

From day one, she rolled up her sleeves and got to work, not just dreaming of something better, but helping build it from the ground up.
